Wednesday Wisdom podcast
Wednesday Wisdom: KHIZAR NAEEM I designed and launched an employee spotlight podcast series that boosted internal team engagement and Slack video views by 40%, creating a culture of connection across Deel's global workforce. Challenge 📖: There was no structured way to capture or amplify employee stories, despite clear evidence of rich, inspiring moments shared informally across Slack. The opportunity to connect these personal achievements to company culture, remote work benefits, and employee engagement was being missed. My Approach 🚀: I launched “Wednesday Wisdom,” Deel’s first internal podcast series, interviewing employees about their passions, achievements, and how their work enabled those experiences. After securing stakeholder buy-in, I distributed episodes across internal channels to reach the company’s global workforce and spark conversations. Results 🎯 : Increased Slack engagement, while also earning executive buy-in and cross-functional use. Beyond metrics, the series strengthened company culture, elevated employee visibility, and created a storytelling engine that connected a globally- distributed workforce.
AI Workforce client content
Meet the Deel AI Workforce (they’re ready to work) Delivered a cohesive product story that simplified a highly technical AI product launch, strengthened Deel’s competitive, compliance-first positioning and driving early adoption Challenge 📖: Position a complex, first-of-its-kind HR product—Deel AI Workforce— in a crowded agentic AI market, while effectively differentiating it from more generic tools. We also needed to clearly yet succinctly address concerns around compliance, trust, and real business value. The messaging needed to resonate with global HR and payroll leaders under pressure to do more with fewer resources. My Approach 🚀: I developed a clear, compelling narrative that framed AI agents as “digital colleagues” embedded directly into workflows—highlighting their ability to not just advise, but take compliant action across 150+ countries. I structured messaging around practical use case scenarios to emphasize measurable ROI, and real-world applications tied to everyday HR and payroll challenges. Results 🎯 : Delivered a cohesive product story that simplified a highly technical launch and enabled internal teams (sales, marketing, comms) to articulate value. The narrative helped drive early adoption through waitlist interest, aligned cross-functional stakeholders, and established a scalable messaging framework for future AI product expansion.
Content blocks for CMS
Implemented a modular content block system to improve cross-team alignment, reducing customer support escalations related to payroll timelines by 62%. Challenge 📖: Following the launch of OpenDeel - the internal CMS at Deel - content was fragmented across 10,000+ imported articles with inconsistent structure, duplication, and siloed ownership. This lack of standardization created friction for users and reduced the accuracy of the internal AI assistant, Alicia. My Approach 🚀: I identified the need for a scalable “content block” system and led the initiative from concept to rollout—partnering with engineering, creating a high-priority JIRA project, and helping design and beta-test reusable, standardized content modules. This enabled teams to insert and update "single-source-of-truth" content across thousands of articles, improving consistency and governance. Results 🎯 : Content blocks became a foundational CMS feature, with over 200 blocks used across thousands of intranet articles. This drove a significant improvement in internal AI performance scores, reduced content duplication, and created a scalable system that improved accuracy and efficiency across sales, product, and customer-facing teams.
Internal SOP Writing Bot
We invented an AI-powered SOP Writing Bot within Deel's CMS, enabling scalable editorial consistency and saving managers hours per week in manual documentation efforts. Challenge 📖: There were hundreds of procedural documents and internal workflow articles, but inconsistent formatting, unclear structure, and conflicting information often made them difficult to use and impossible maintain. Creating a new SOP or reviewing overlapping articles a time-consuming affair, leading to inefficiency and lack of standardization across departments. My Approach 🚀: We built a custom GPT-powered “SOP Writing Bot” that guides managers through document creation using Deel’s approved templates—automatically formatting the article, improving tone and clarity, and prompting for missing information. The tool works whether users paste rough notes and meeting documents, or are starting from scratch. Results 🎯 : Dozens of SOPs have been created using the bot, reducing creation time from hours to just minutes. The tool received strong adoption and positive feedback from payroll and product managers, saving hours of manual work each week. We ensure every SOP is consistent, complete, and easy to follow.
Benefits Snapshots AI automation
We implemented an AI workflow to automate benefits snapshot creation and reduce manual oversight of renewal processes Challenge 📖: Managing 300+ country benefits PDFs during annual renewal cycles required 3 hours of review per document. This created a massive manual workload and generated risk of inconsistency across client- and employee-facing materials. My Approach 🚀: We implemented a Claude workflow to automate benefits snapshot creation. The Knowledge Team is feeding Claude structured country knowledge content so the AI can extract plan details and instantly generate fully formatted, template-compliant PDF documents. Results 🎯 : Reduced snapshot creation time from hours to minutes while improving consistency and accuracy across all markets. This transformed a highly manual process into an efficient, scalable system.
Daily Dose with Jeff Smith
DAILY DOSE Promo Commercial Challenge 📖: After being promoted to host Daily Dose on i24NEWS, I needed to grow audience reach during a new simulcast partnership with News 12 Networks—while adapting the show’s content to resonate with both Anglo-Israeli and American viewers. At the same time, the show lacked a defined social media presence and cohesive digital strategy. My Approach 🚀: I redefined the show’s editorial voice to blend global and Middle East coverage with an American-focused lens, while introducing original segments and more human-centered storytelling. I also built and managed the show’s first social media strategy—launching dedicated channels, creating an editorial calendar, and integrating viewer engagement into our daily newsroom workflows. Results 🎯 : Exponential year-over-year increase in social media followers and viewer engagement. I expanded the show’s reach and relevance to a broader international audience, especially during War, Terror Attacks, Environmental Disaster, Elections, and Breaking News.
5 Hours in a 5 Star
"5 Hours in a 5 Star" show reel Challenge 📖: Amid the collapse of Israel’s tourism industry during the COVID-19, I needed to create compelling, relevant content while traditional travel coverage was effectively shut down. As borders reopened, hotels were rebuilding from zero, creating both a storytelling opportunity and a need for visibility. My Approach 🚀 : I pitched and produced 🌅 “5 Hours in a 5 Star”, a fast-paced travelogue where I spent five hours on-site showcasing each hotel’s offerings—from dining and spa treatments to suites and excursions. Results 🎯 : The series generated new revenue through footage sales, while also delivering strong audience engagement and international reach. It drove measurable growth in social engagement, with most partner hotels using our content to promote their properties—expanding both their visibility and our channel’s global footprint.
Tel Aviv to Tokyo: Israel 2020 Olympics
Tokyo Olympics Israel show opener Challenge 📖: Cover Israel’s largest-ever delegation to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with just one reporter, limited access, and strict broadcast restrictions. My Approach 🚀: Instead of chasing the story in Tokyo, I brought the Olympics home—before they even began. I led a pre-Games content strategy focused on the athletes themselves: their routines, their pressure, their personalities. We filmed training sessions and conducted in-depth interviews across 7 sports, building a pipeline of stories we could publish daily once the Games started. Results 🎯 : 350K+ total online impressions, with features on Sagi Muki ( 🥉 bronze medal) and Lonah Chemtai Salpeter ( 🏃♀️ marathoner) becoming the top-performing videos of the month.
